Our Story
Mystery Kits Australia (MKA) was founded in 2024 in South-East Brisbane by four friends who share the love of football: Benjamin Duffield, Ross McCann, Harrison Johnson, and Jackson Marks. The company was founded with a goal to not only share the love of football, but to also help change the lives of children around the world. MKA was formed with three core initiatives in mind:

Grassroots Football
Our roots are in local football. The muddy boots, the early morning kick-offs, the corner canteens. That’s why a portion of every kit sold goes straight back into grassroots clubs across Australia — funding gear, helping with fees, or supporting local programs.
Because we’re not just about sending shirts — we’re about strengthening the game from the ground up.

Clothing Underserved Communities
Through partnerships with charitable organisations and direct connections with clubs in underserved communities, we donate football kits to places where access to equipment is limited but passion runs deep. These shirts find new life in the hands of players who wear them with pride — not for the badge, but for the game.
It’s our way of giving football back to the people who live and breathe it.

We keep our prices as low as possible because we believe everyone should have the chance to feel connected to something bigger — a team, a story, a community. You don’t have to spend big to feel like you belong.

Our mission is to bring the joy of opening mystery kits to everyone, both locally and internationally, by making them accessible and affordable. Through our commitment to charitable initiatives, we aim to provide these experiences to underserved communities, ensuring that the excitement and wonder of discovery are shared by all. MKA aims to grow grassroots football in Australia through actively engaging with local clubs and providing financial assistance to the clubs to further strengthen their grassroots football programs.

We strive to be a driving force in grassroots football, empowering young players through reinvestment in local clubs, while also extending our reach to children in underserved countries, providing them with the gift of football jerseys and a sense of belonging. Through every mystery kit opened, we aim to ignite passion, build community, and inspire change—one jersey at a time.
